Imagem Music Signs the George Gershwin Catalogue
23 May 2013
Imagem Music USA has signed a multi-year agreement with the Arthur Gershwin Testamentary Trust to administer the work George Gershwin created during the last three years of his life, including the songs featured in Porgy and Bess, Shall We Dance, A Damsel In Distress, and The Goldwyn Follies. Gershwin’s compositions embraced both popular and classical genres; this portion of the catalogue includes recognizable standards such as “They Can’t Take That Away From Me,” “A Foggy Day,” “They All Laughed,” “Nice Work If You Can Get It,” “It Ain’t Necessarily So,” and “Summertime.”
